Recently, on a walk I haven't been on in many years (Shawnee Mission park), I found much to like. Things like Bee Hotels, sunflowers and spider webs, winding paths, and benches with views if there was a need to sit.
I also spotted yellow coneflowers, tall trees, and tempting turns off the main trail. Which of course were taken.
I spied cairns, wild allium, and bluebirds perched up high. The vibrant blue of their wings when they are in flight makes me want to clap.
And when I had walked enough, there was a shady spot to sit and swing my legs, while I drank my water and looked at this view.
Happy Friday all, hope your weekends are filled with walks or whatever it is that brings you the feeling I had at the conclusion of this morning.
Just lovely, Carol. Thank you.
