There was a whole lot of goodness at the market this past Saturday... starting with BABY FEET, ambrosia melons, and pink zinnias.
One good pink deserves another so I present this little miss, spotted from a distance (I have a fine-tuned radar that alerts me to things such as this) and she was only too happy to demonstrate her moves for me.
I also capitalized on what will likely be the last week of blueberries in Kansas. This box is getting frozen for the mid-winter blueberry snacking cake.
Big heirloom tomatoes meant BLT's with Duke's mayo and smoky bacon on Monday night. There is no word that can accurately and succinctly capture the flavor. So I will just say OH!
Which is also a good word to describe the flowers selected to carry home, and this curly haired, mask wearing adventurer.
Until next week, I hope you are all enjoying the bounty of summer.
Thanks, Carol, always fun to tag along and get to see what you see.
