Wonderful, again. I love that you share your outings and take us home-bound along.

I absolutely enjoy your blog so much and enjoy your perspective on life and people in general. I live in Colorado...in the San Luis Valley and haven't been to Estes Park in years...after all your posts ,pictures and commentary I think I'd better take another trip there!!! Mary in Colorado

So beautiful Carol, and I love that you’re not afraid to ask people to pose for a photo! Yes, hiking is the best pastime, good for body and soul. Thank you for this lovely post!

Thank you Jacki - I am glad you always have your bags packed and are ready to come along.

Oh Mary,Colorado is such a BEAUTIFUL place. Last year when we went to Breckenridge I vowed that we would visit more often. This year was equally wonderful. I look forward to many more visits and must check out where you are at to see what I must see there.

Jan: I just love meeting people and exchanging just a minute of life with them. That's all I need, just a quick connection. The acknowledgement of someone else and whatever it is that I see in. Here's to hiking :-)

What a wonderful trip you had. Getting out doors right now seems the perfect elixir for "cabin fever". I simply love the couple with the backpack... I have a similar backpack using some of my old Girl Scout badges... my husband let me use his old Army green backpack he used for school. So fun!

Emie: and old army backpack with Girl Scout badges sounds fabulous!
