Last week I decided to visit the Saunders Mound trail at Clinton Lake. With all these new walking places I have discovered, I have neglected a few old favorites.
It is as glorious as ever.
Pink clouds, big trees, sunrise over the water, a pretty deer, sunflowers in the morning light, and of course the lake.
We have a date to do this again before the month is up. I don't think it will be a hardship, but I will say the grasses are super tall right now, and the spiders are weaving some human catching webs across the trails. I am going to wear a bee-keepers helmet and a long sleeve shirt the next time. Which will hopefully cut down on the number of spaz attacks I have when I walk through one of them because I am not paying attention.
