Some of the very routine (some might say unexceptional - but they would be wrong) things that have gone on around here recently include finding a cool speckled feather on the Kaw Valley farm tour,
Chris making a batch of bierochs,
the first hedge ball siting of the fall,
what may (or may not) be the season's last vase of zinnias,
the fall garland coming out of the basement,
selecting new fall nail polish colors (which may or may not look like I think they will on my toes),
and red leaves that floated into my hand (not really) on a hike.
It's shaping up to be an AMAZING fall season.
Yes, indeed.

What wonderful variations of thoughts and fall-themed happenings! My German-roots family makes Bierochs also. Does Chris make his own bread dough? Or has he devised a shortcut like we have? *wink* Crescent rolls.
