The best of the regular stuff these last days has included:
Deciding this yarn and this pattern should go together. Both have been in my possession for years but for some reason didn't find each other until this week. It's funny how "stuff" can get buried and rediscovered. I am having the best time with the #2 double points.
A campanile walk on a cold late morning, no one around. Just me and my frosty breath.
The pumpkins have been properly stored away and a fond farewell said to the one from the farmers market that served as a perfect base for an arrangement of the best of the fall foliage.
The Christmas table runner came upstairs to grace the table for the month and the holiday mugs have made an appearance.
Every year it's like opening the best presents again.
I am making the MOST of every second of outdoor time. This vine creeping up this tree with those red berries was a little moment of perfection. I took it in deeply, like every other one of the things I described above. Necessary shields that can be drawn upon as needed to deflect any situation that calls for it.
I had to look up the word "campanile". I like it! I do this when I see words new to me. The photo of the campanile is fabulous as are the berries. Berries always brighten things up.
