I just completed installment #10 of the Flavia de Luce series by Alan Bradley - The Grave's a Fine and Private Place. Another extremely enjoyable romp around the English countryside of the 1950's with my favorite sleuth.
There are so many things about this series that I enjoy. The quirky sayings, the amazing narrator (Jayne Entwistle), and being completely immersed in the story/setting. At the end of this book there is a hint to a new direction the series may be taking, which sounds marvelous. I hope some of the characters from this installment will be making appearances. I want to get to know them better.
While I am on the topic of books, if you are looking for a good "Whodunnit", you are going to want to listen to Louise and Virginia talk about this genre on episode 08 of Diving In. I have mentioned this podcast at least once before and have listened to 4 different episodes now. Every one of them EXTREMELY enjoyable.
