The Mulvenon family hiking club got together last weekend for an exploration of the trails around Lake Lenexa. Most of us have been vaccinated, some still have a week to go before "full immunity" has set in. Hence some masked and some not.
We wondered around the lake, through the woods, and over a dam.
All in all a very enjoyable outing. Time to catch up on what is happening with everyone. In person. Somehow conversation is so much more enjoyable when you are not each having to mute and unmute.
But the highlight of the day by a LONG shot, was getting to meet Alice. In person, for the first time. She is already walking and has teeth and it is so strange that it took a whole year for us to be able to welcome her to the family. She took it all in stride. Even when I sneaked up on her and kissed that neck.
Because lets face it, baby necks are just so darn kissable.
She is beautiful!! And I can see why you want to kiss that neck.
