This month's ordinary stuff has included walks,
Skimming through this wonderful book about birds which is packed full of little bits of things you have likely always wanted to know, in a format that does not get overly detailed and is beautifully illustrated. Check it out from your library to decide if you MUST own it.
Evaluating the progress of the succulents that I thought would die from too much rain (they haven't) and showing them to sister who told me that my string of fishhooks was actually a string of dolphins. Which in hindsight seems pretty obvious.
Wrapping packages, mailing cards.
Drinking latte's and bringing cold brew home.
And... watching the moon, in the early morning. It's my favorite time to look at it. Except of course when I am looking at it at night, which is also my favorite time to look at it. I was raised to believe you can have more than one favorite of anything.
"I was raised to believe you can have more than one favorite of anything."
What a wise and sanity-enhancing way to approach things. It's my favorite. :-) Right along with Wayne Gretzky's "I miss 100% of the shots I don't take."
:-)
