future farmers in training

This week at the market there were women balancing cute puppies and coffee and multiple bouquets while reaching for bags of asparagus.

There were snap dragons and gladiolas, people waiting for doughnuts, wonderful looking greens, and future farmers in training. 

There was carrot cake and pottery for sale.





I also noted youngsters in sunglasses eating their breakfast. Each in their own way. 





Best Farmers market outfits for the day went to this couple.

and of course, this. A moist, dense, nutty, bit of cake to help us celebrate an anniversary. 

Isn't it a rule or something that you should have cake on such an occasion?
