After a morning walk this week, I drove though old west Lawrence. Looking for blooming trees. I was not disappointed. The magnolias have all gotten the message - "it's time to wake up".
In my mind, the whole city is a garden, and I feel free to visit my favorite spots as desired. Those that are readily accessible anyway. It is not my habit to sneak over fences, or wander into backyards. At least not at this time.
I am of the mind that all gardeners, everywhere, appreciate anyone who appreciates their expertise.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
