the pleasure of the cutting and arranging

For today I give you the joy of friendship in the form of peonies snipped (with permission) from the garden of a friend. 

What could be more delightful?

The pleasure of the cutting and arranging, the generosity of the giver, the softness of the pink petals in all their shades. 

Sigh. I love the underneath side of them as much as the top.
